She wears them every day. They protect her feet from the wood chips at the playground, but still let air in. She even wears them with a dress to church. One downfall is that they make her feet stink pretty bad, but they (the shoes and her feet) wash up very nice, so it isn't a permanent condition. We have gotten mud on these several times, we just use a scrub brush and rinse them in the sink or the shower. If you are the kind of parent who has 50 pairs of shoes for a toddler, then these might be a little pricey, but if you have few pairs, they are a great investment!
