Great Kid Shoes for Summer - I was hesitant about spending $40+ on shoes for an 18mo. old, but we have definitely gotten our moneys worth from these. She wears them every day. They protect her feet from the wood chips at the playground, but still let air in. She even wears them with a dress to church. One downfall is that they make her feet stink pretty bad, but they (the shoes and her feet) wash up very nice, so it isn't a permanent condition. We have gotten mud on these several times, we just use a scrub brush and rinse them in the sink or the shower. If you are the kind of parent who has 50 pairs of shoes for a toddler, then these might be a little pricey, but if you have few pairs, they are a great investment!
